You say you want a revolution

This project focused on the importance of education in order to spark change. During the unit, students studied different allegories, such as Allegory of the Cave. They also studied different historical Revolutions and gathered in weekly Socratic Seminars in order to discuss their research. The project culminated with my 8th graders writing their own allegories and together creating a book that they presented to their 1st grade little buddies and the rest of the community.
